Changes

At last, a change that is beneficial. I can use this blog again without an instant disconnect.
I don't like changes. I have tried to avoid them all of my life. Almost all of the changes that have happened to me and were not of my doing have turned out to be good changes. Any change that was initiated by my incredible sense of reasoning has turned out to be donkey fazoo. I especially don't like moving and that is strange because I have moved a great many times. I have never been west of the Rockies but I have moved to every other part of the country at one time or another. I have been to several other countries and they were nice but not like the good old U.S.A., although I do wish that we had a Tim Horton's.
About six years ago I had a monumental physical change which should have been disastrous but turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me. It ranks right up there with the day I was married and the days that each one of my children were born. With all of the advancements that mankind has made, those same days are still the most important in a person's life. It is good that some things don't change.
I greet the Sun each morning, people have been doing that for quite some time, I rejoice in knowing that I have enough food to eat, and I am constantly aware that I have a place to sleep and that I am pain free. My children are happy and healthy, warm, and well fed and well watered. Life is so good.
I am looking forward to a change in the White House but, due to my track record of change initiation, I don't think that I will vote. I am sure that if Bozo the Clown were on the ballot I would vote for him, although there is not a chance of that because the Constitution prevents him from running for a third term.
Ch ch ch changes , sometimes they have proven to be good, perhaps it is time for some. I would enjoy living again where there are theaters and museums, a mixture of cultures and ideas, and decent deli. It is tiresome living here in the whitebread capital of the world and will soon get worse. Hunting season is approaching and soon the town will abound with yahoos in pick-up trucks tearing around in camouflaged jackets, hats, and fanny packs despite the fact that there aren't any deer in this town. I am going to suggest a new hunting tournament to them: Hunting chickens with bulldozers. I am sure that this will appeal to the Rambo wannabees in this town and that the will miss the irony if there is an engraved faux-gold cup and a picture in the newspaper involved. I will do this anonymously after hunting season is over as I have noticed that during hunting season their weapons are loaded and so are they.
Still, there is Fall to look forward to. Nature's brilliant palette of leaves, the crystal clear blue skies, the cool refreshing weather, apple cider and cinnamon doughnuts, and joy of joys, Thanksgiving! The only holiday that is not replete with gift giving. The turkey is always the right size and the right color and only the table groans. What a wonderful holiday, I wonder where it originated? Please forgive us for the Indian Pudding, at least it isn't lutefisk.

all that for no deer? send them here...send them here.

We have deer. Deer that eat my vegtables...deer that wait until I am driving around the ben to pounce out at me to see if I have really good breaks...actually leave the rambo wannabees right where they are; we have enough cracked nuts of our own.

Your greeting to the sun reminds me of a tradition that we have as we sit at the Point Judith Lighthouse and watch the sun go down. My children and I; we shout, "SEE YA TOMORROW".

nobody gets it but us and we laugh hysterically.

blogger is giving me a headache- I can't seem to load up all my newest photos and it is driving me insane. oh well.
